    Hi Ben,

I understand that for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4, there were 4 exams available: (i) Customisation & Configuration; (ii) Installation & Deployment; (iii) Applications; (iv) Extending

However, I can only find information for the equivalents of the first 3 of these for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 – I can’t seem to find any info on the one for Extending Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Does you know if Microsoft plan to release this exam and/or any planned timescales for this?

    Thanks

    Parvez

I’m not sure of the time-scales of the releases but Microsoft put a lot more emphasis on three certifications you mentioned. To get gold partner status you don’t need anyone to get the Extending CRM.

So with this in my mind I think they have focused on getting the first three exams out first.

I would say that they won’t have the extending exam out for another month at least but that is only my opinion and unfortunately I haven’t seen any information on the release schedule for this exam. You could try asking some of the CRM MVP’s who might be privy to some information the rest of us aren’t.
